African Development Bank annual meetings

Jun 29 2010  Countries throughout Africa managed to weather the storm brought about by the global economic slowdown, still managing to record a continent-wide economic growth of 2.5% last year. While higher growth is expected this year, African countries continue to contend with a number of challenges as they seek to develop their economies. This year’s African Development Bank annual meetings brought together delegates from around the continent and beyond to discuss the challenges ahead and ways of tackling them.
