Mar 30 2009

They describe a financial landscape laid to waste by the financial crisis, comparing the collapse of Lehman Brothers to a heart attack not just for the financial system but for the entire global economy. Ambroise Laurent, global head of FIG at BNP Paribas asks which institutions will survive, while Dresdner Kleinwort's head of FIG Rolf Petermann sees rays of hope in the recent return of successful non-government backed capital markets deals.
